Ling Feng had no idea what was going through Yun Yun's mind. He simply found teasing her rather amusing and spoke as though his words were both casual and deliberate. Sure enough, he caught her attention again, and she picked up the thread.
"Why do you say that?"
"Yun Yun is a female Dou Emperor, incredibly powerful, and the sect master of the Misty Cloud Sect to boot. If you were her, I could cling to your thigh."
Yun Yun smiled at his words. This little fellow really has no idea that I'm the very thigh he wants to cling to...
"That's true."
Yun Yun nodded with a smile, then said meaningfully, "But I'm a Dou Emperor too, and I'm no worse than her. Why don't you become my disciple?"
Uh... you're Yun Yun yourself, and you're still playing these little games with me?
Watching the stunning beauty before him play her little games, Ling Feng did not know whether to laugh or cry. Still, he let none of it show. Instead, he shook his head and refused outright.
"No thanks."
"Why? Do you think I'm not good enough?"
Yun Yun knitted her delicate brows in puzzlement. Yet Ling Feng's next answer caught her completely off guard, leaving her utterly dumbfounded.
"No. I just want you to be my wife."
That simple, blunt sentence froze Yun Yun on the spot. Then her soft, fair skin flushed crimson. Faced with Ling Feng's expression, which looked nothing like a joke, she lowered her head, unable to meet his eyes.
"Ling Feng, what nonsense are you talking about!"
Yun Yun sounded somewhat embarrassed and annoyed as she chided him, but at the end, she added, "I'm
