They could not linger in the desert, so Ling Feng decided to head to the nearest city first. Qing Lin was quite familiar with the cities scattered across the Tagor Desert, and with her guiding him, he headed toward nearby Mo City.
After roughly the time it took to drink a pot of tea, the Thick-Winged Bird Ling Feng had created was already circling above Mo City's entrance.
Ling Feng patted the Thick-Winged Bird and landed on the ground. Waves of heat immediately washed over his face.
With the desert so close, the weather here was scorching too, though it was somewhat cooler than the desert's blistering heat.
"Mo City. Finally here!"
Squinting at the city of yellow earth, Ling Feng softly exhaled a hot breath and murmured to himself.
Then he led Qing Lin into Mo City.
Once they reached the streets, they found plenty of pedestrians around them. Most of the men were bare-chested, their lean, muscular bodies covered in bronze-yellow skin. At a glance, they seemed quite hearty and forthright.
The women who occasionally passed by also had slightly yellowish skin, but theirs was a healthy wheat color tending toward bronze, a refreshing sight.
The women here were not as reserved and bashful as those Ling Feng had seen in Wutan City. Their clothing was far more revealing, with their upper bodies barely covered.
