Will shook his head. "My teacher gave me that card. He didn't know where it came from either, only that it was a fairly old card, one that had been around for some years. Are you interested in it?" He didn't understand what there was to study about that card. He had used it for so long without discovering anything special about it.

"Oh, never mind, then." Deeply disappointed, Chen Mu turned and left the training room.

The training room door slid shut with a swish. Before leaving, Chen Mu habitually swiped his Room Card, then walked away. Will, absorbed in the Hundred Blades Card, never noticed that he had been locked inside.
