Chen Mu opened his eyes, suddenly sensed something, and hurriedly sat up from the floor. He carefully examined the perception inside his body. Overnight, its structure had undergone an astonishing change without any warning.

The previous spindle-shaped perception vortex had vanished, replaced by an extremely regular double-helix perception structure. It consisted of two thick perception strands, running parallel to each other and winding into a spiral. These two strands represented two diametrically opposed properties, but the most remarkable thing was the extraordinary force field between them.

It was precisely this force that made the structure so stable, far more stable than his old spindle-shaped perception vortex.

All those intricate, hair-fine perception filaments had disappeared. The new perception structure was clean and uncluttered, without a single unnecessary part.

The two thick perception strands nestled against each other like a pair of snakes, one male and one female, slowly winding and gliding along the spiral.

What was going on?

Chen Mu stared blankly at the perception structure inside him, momentarily bewildered.

Why had it changed like this? Was this change good or bad? And what could this entirely new perception structure do?

His mind was a tangled mess, and Chen Mu could not help smiling bitterly. Although he had created the Snow Pit Method, his understanding of perception, that most mysterious of human powers, was clearly not deep enough.

Nothing else today. Just one goal: figure out the properties of this new perception.

His attention returned to the utterly unfamiliar double-helix structure. He had deduced that the two perception strands had opposing properties because their internal structures were completely opposed. Structure determined properties-that was the most fundamental law of perception.

By rights, two perception strands with diametrically opposed properties should repel each other. How could they form such a stable structure?
