In the darkness, Chen Mu raised his head in a daze. A full ten minutes passed before clarity gradually returned to his eyes. He let out a long breath and stood up. Glancing around, he saw cards scattered throughout the room.
As his gaze swept over the cards strewn about like snowflakes, a sense of accomplishment welled up within him. He had never imagined he could make so many cards in such a short time! These were all four-star cards. If he put them on the market, they would fetch an astronomical price.
But although there were many scattered cards, a considerable number were junk cards from failed attempts. He needed to sort those out now.
Just how many cards had he made? He had no idea. He was curious to see exactly how much he had accomplished.
Chen Mu began gathering the cards scattered everywhere, all over the floor and the table.
Just then, Ru Qiu came in. Seeing what he was doing, she hurriedly said respectfully, "Sir, please leave this sort of work to me!"
Chen Mu's performance over the past few days had utterly won Ru Qiu over. She had never imagined anyone could push himself so hard. Weren't Card Crafters supposed to earn generous salaries and live leisurely lives? In her eyes, even the research-obsessed teachers at her school fell far short of Chen Mu.
She finally understood why Chen Mu had achieved so much despite being barely older than her!
