Power Progression
Ah Yin is already a hundred-thousand-year soul beast when introduced. The documented advancements below concern Chen Ci’s twin martial souls, which evolve through her inheritance—not an increase in Ah Yin’s own cultivation 3 4.
| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Twin Blue Silver Grass → twin Blue Silver Emperor martial souls | 4 | Ah Yin merges her Seed of Life into Chen Ci’s martial souls. Surrounding Blue Silver Grass supplies life energy, and both plants become thicker with sapphire-like leaves. |
| Gold-patterned Blue Silver Emperor: first soul ring | 6 | Chen Ci absorbs an eleven-hundred-year Shatterrock Heavy Armor Dragon ring, gaining Golden Dragon Body and further unlocking his Golden Dragon King bloodline. |

| Both Blue Silver Emperors: second, self-condensed thousand-year rings | 22 | Absorbing Xiao Wu’s essence strengthens Chen Ci’s dragon bloodlines. A new purple ring appears around each martial soul, granting Golden Dragon Tyrant Body and Fire Element Control; his soul power reaches level twenty. |
Background / History
Sacrifice and Dormancy
Ah Yin previously sacrificed herself to Tang Hao. She later regrets that decision because it prevents her from offering Chen Ci a hundred-thousand-year soul ring 6.
She remains dormant for decades near Holy Soul Village. A concealed chamber behind a waterfall contains her cenotaph, Seed of Life, and right-leg soul bone 3.
Choosing Chen Ci
Chen Ci’s arrival awakens Ah Yin. She recognizes his aura as belonging to both the sovereign of Blue Silver Grass and the sovereign of all soul beasts. Believing he offers hope of overcoming the barrier preventing soul beasts from becoming gods, she chooses their future over her attachments to Tang Hao and Tang San 3.
Ah Yin guides Chen Ci through the surrounding grass, builds a bridge to the waterfall chamber, and opens its concealed entrance. She personally gives him her Seed of Life and soul bone, guards his absorption, and erases evidence of his visit afterward 3 4.
When Tang Hao and Tang San return, a contingency image announces that she gave her inheritance to Chen Ci, whom she calls her master. She asks them to forget her. Tang Hao interprets her departure as bewitchment, but Ah Yin explicitly tells Chen Ci that she chose him freely 5 6.
Confronting Tang San
During Chen Ci’s academy confrontation with Tang San, Ah Yin appears beside her new master. She identifies herself as Tang San’s mother and Chen Ci’s subordinate, warning her son not to oppose him 17 18.
Although reluctant to hurt Tang San, she follows Chen Ci’s instruction to restrain him with the silver-patterned Blue Silver Emperor. The binding requires no activated soul ring, exposing entanglement as an innate plant ability rather than something that necessarily needs a soul-skill slot 18.
Appearance
- Manifested form: A woman with long blue hair and a long blue dress, appearing through her Seed of Life 4.
- Inherited martial souls: Chen Ci’s evolved plants have thicker vines, sapphire-like leaves, and abundant visible life force. Their dragon-shaped markings distinguish the gold- and silver-patterned forms 4 8 17.
- Right-leg soul bone: Translucent blue-gold, radiating pulses of life 4.
Personality
Ah Yin places the Soul Beast Clan’s survival above her former family life. She initially apologizes inwardly for failing as a wife and mother, but still commits to Chen Ci because she believes his potential matters more than personal romance 3 4.
Her loyalty is practical as well as reverent: she provides access to her inheritance, protects Chen Ci during absorption, conceals his departure, and supplies intelligence. Nevertheless, maternal feelings remain. She worries about Tang San’s cultivation and hesitates before confronting him, even after declaring that she would punish or kill him if he truly threatened Chen Ci 4 6 18.
Abilities & Skills
Blue Silver Grass Control
Ah Yin directs nearby Blue Silver Grass for guidance, construction, and concealment 3 4.
- Makes grass glow in rhythmic patterns to lead Chen Ci to her chamber 3.
- Weaves a bridge across the rocks beneath the waterfall 3.
- Operates the concealed entrance through a strand of grass 3.
- Erases traces of Chen Ci’s visit after he leaves 4.
Remote Observation and Manifestation
- Uses surrounding Blue Silver Grass to project Tang Hao and Tang San’s situation in real time 6.
- Leaves a contingency image that explains her departure when her former family discovers the emptied chamber 5.
- Manifests beside Chen Ci during his confrontation with Tang San 17 18.
Innate Entanglement
Ah Yin controls Chen Ci’s silver-patterned Blue Silver Emperor to bind Tang San without activating a soul ring 18.
- Demonstrates that binding is an innate Blue Silver Grass ability 18.
- The restraint is not absolute: Tang San subsequently breaks free while revealing his Clear Sky Hammer 19.
Life-Based Inheritance
- Her Seed of Life evolves Chen Ci’s twin Blue Silver Grass martial souls into Blue Silver Emperors 4.
- She identifies life as the proper foundation of Blue Silver Grass and objects to poison-attribute ring choices for Tang San 4.
- Blue Silver Emperor evolution can provide a self-evolving soul ring, but Chen Ci declines it in favor of dragon-derived skills 4.
Relics
- Seed of Life — Voluntarily bestowed on Chen Ci and merged into his martial souls 4.
- Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone — A complete right-leg bone, gifted to Chen Ci. It clears his meridians and grants Flight with exceptionally low soul-power consumption; its flight speed exceeds that of an ordinary horse 4 5.
Relationships
- Chen Ci — Chosen master. Ah Yin recognizes his sovereign bloodlines, gives him her inheritance, and prioritizes his safety over her former family attachments 3 4 6.
- Tang Hao — Husband from whom she chooses to separate. He believes she has been bewitched; she denies this and affirms that her departure was voluntary 3 5 6.
- Tang San — Son. She retains concern for his development but warns him against opposing Chen Ci and ultimately helps restrain him 4 6 18.
Legacy and Succession
- Chen Ci’s inherited Blue Silver Emperor commands ordinary Blue Silver Grass as a sensory and warning network 6 8.
- Only one Blue Silver Emperor can exist in an era. Chen Ci’s succession therefore prevents Tang San from awakening as Emperor despite possessing Ah Yin’s bloodline; he instead obtains the Blue Silver King 16 17.
- The Emperor’s imperial aura forces Tang San’s Blue Silver King to slip from his control and bow, trembling 16.
- Chen Ci’s dragon bloodlines distinguish his inherited forms: the gold-patterned Emperor emphasizes bloodline and physical power, while the silver-patterned Emperor emphasizes elemental power 8.
