The next day.
Because this duel between Bai He and Keao was the first legal battle on the island since Divine Light Sealed Island, it drew exceptional attention.
The news spread rapidly. Before either of them had arrived, more than a hundred people had already gathered at the agreed-upon battleground, representing over a dozen alliances, with even more still hurrying over.
Time passed swiftly.
Only after the sun had fully risen did Yarold and Keao slowly arrive with the members of the Nature Alliance.
Yarold, however, did not look well. The Demigod Treant from Treant Valley had visited him the night before and demanded that he return the treants under his control. Under pressure, he had no choice but to comply. The only consolation was that he had already helped Keao accomplish that matter.
Thinking of this, Yarold could not help sighing before turning to look at Keao.
Keao now was vastly different from the one Bai He and the others had seen before.
After losing the Wolf Tiger Beast Soul, the wolf ears atop Keao's head and the tiger tail behind him had vanished. In their place were reddish fur covering his entire body, protruding fangs, a monkey tail, and four powerful, muscular arms.
Even Keao's face was no longer wholly human. Half of it was human, while the other half was ape-like.
He looked exactly like the Four-Armed Blood-Colored Demon Ape Bai He had once encountered. This was the consequence of Keao forcibly sealing the beast soul of that Four-Armed Blood-Colored Demon Ape with a forbidden technique of the Barbarian Race!
When the more than one hundred cultivators present saw Keao's savage appearance, they could not help shuddering. He scarcely looked human anymore, but rather half-man and half-beast.
Keao slowly entered the dueling grounds, then sat down cross-legged.
