Chapter Summaries

Azure fought Soton after the crocodile god intervened in his battle with the Crimson Demon, and Soton tried to force Azure down by threatening nearby humans. Azure struck back and the two began a fierce fight, while the recovering Crimson Demon turned its attention toward people hiding in nearby buildings.

• Soton arrived and challenged Azure, then split Azure’s Holy Light shield with his blade.
• Soton drove the Crimson Demon away and tried to lure Azure down from the air by taunting him.
• Morgana urged Soton to threaten the humans, and Soton cornered several youths hiding behind a car.
• Azure vanished, struck Soton across the street, and attacked him with Purification Lightning.
• As Azure and Soton fought, the Crimson Demon healed, grew hungry, and rose to approach the people watching from nearby buildings.

Cheng An fought the Crimson Demon to protect the people hiding in a clothing store, using the Evil Bone Sword Bai He had modified. After the demon carried him into the sky and sent him falling, an explosive blast knocked them apart and someone caught him.

• The Crimson Demon approached the clothing store, and Cheng An rushed in to stop it from reaching the people inside.
• Cheng An drew the Evil Bone Sword and stabbed the Crimson Demon, draining its blood as he dodged its attacks.
• The Crimson Demon flew upward and twisted through the air, forcing Cheng An to cling to its chest before he fell away.
• As the Crimson Demon dove after him, an explosive blast struck and separated them.
• Someone caught Cheng An by the collar and asked if he was alright.

Cheng An was rescued by Ge Xiaolun, while the Super Soldier Company prepared to deal with the Crimson Demon. After Bai He knocked the demon into a crater, Du Qiangwei sent seven new trainees to fight it, and a crimson hand emerged from the dust as they approached.

• Ge Xiaolun rescued Cheng An and carried him down after the military sealed off the Pedestrian Street.
• Leina explained to Du Qiangwei and the others that the Angel Civilization consisted of female angels, distinct from male angels like Azure.
• The Crimson Demon flew toward the Dawn 3 Dark Alloy transport aircraft, and Bai He struck it into the ground with the Heaven Destroying Hand.
• Leina assigned the weakened Crimson Demon to the new trainees, and Du Qiangwei gave Zhao, Li Feifei, Annie, He Weilan, Su Xiaoli, Xi Nan, and Wei Ying their roles.

• Bai He persuaded Sun Wukong not to intervene directly and used his Imprisonment Art to seize Soton’s blade.

• Ge Xiaolun returned Donghong 49 to the armored transport vehicle, and Leina told the soldiers that the demons had fled after suffering heavy losses.
