Today's content wasn't suited to being divided into sections, so I'm posting it as one long chapter.
Under Chaos served four extraordinarily powerful champions of the Chaos Gods.
They were:
Blood Son Khârn.
Mosquito Lord Typhus.
Lucius the Undying.
Ahriman the Wanderer.
While the Imperial Fleet and the Plague Fleet fought fiercely, Ahriman quietly left the battlefield.
Ahriman was the most gifted member of the Thousand Sons Legion. He had once been both captain of the Thousand Sons' First Company and their Chief Librarian.
Ahriman betrayed Mortarion without hesitation. When Mortarion began planning his revenge, Ahriman volunteered his services and devised a flawless plan for him.
The plan was perfect, but only for Ahriman.
Ahriman did what any follower of Tzeentch would do. He deceived Mortarion without hesitation, treating him as a pawn in his own scheme from the very beginning.
Now that pawn had moved exactly as intended, drawing most of the Imperial forces' attention and allowing him to carry out his own plan.
Once everything around them fell silent, Yvraine already knew what had happened.
Even the Plague Fleet right beside them failed to notice them. Macro-cannon shells powerful enough to shatter the entire Aeldari warship merely passed through them.
It was as though they had fallen into another world, where no one could detect them.
"Unfortunately, it seems we've been dragged into the world beneath the ocean's mirrored surface. However fiercely the storms rage above, they cannot touch us here."
The widely experienced Thousand Faces had discerned something.
