The vast, rust-streaked hull of the Ark of Hope began to let out deafening, teeth-grating creaks. Countless markings in red paint began to give off a faint red glow.

The hull trembled slightly.

"It's moving! It's really moving!" Karen watched, overwhelmed with excitement.

Their enemies, however, would not give them any more time.

"Crush them!"

Ork Warboss Glazgnak had lost all patience. He leaped down from the landing craft himself, his massive body, over five meters tall, slamming into the ground like a meteor and throwing up clouds of dust. Ominous arcs of electricity flickered around the Power Claw in his hand as he charged straight at Karen!

Karen roared and raised his Power Axe to meet him.

But the Warboss's strength far exceeded anything he had imagined. A single clash sent Karen staggering backward, the force splitting the skin between his thumb and forefinger and nearly wrenching the Power Axe from his grasp.

Glazgnak grinned viciously and swung his Power Claw down again, ready to tear this stubborn yellow tin can in half.

A miracle struck again.

A second before his Power Claw reached Karen, the ground beneath his feet, piled high with countless scraps, suddenly collapsed with a muffled whump.

Half of Glazgnak's body plunged into an ancient waste pit filled with foul-smelling, viscous liquid.

"WAAAGH! What the hell is this?!" Glazgnak clambered out of the pit in a sorry state, covered in unidentifiable rubbish and slime.

Karen had already seized the opportunity to put some distance between them and regain his footing.

Glazgnak was utterly enraged. Roaring, he charged again.

This time, the dozens of enormous engine nozzles at the stern of the massive ship erupted all at once, spewing violent torrents of gold-and-red energy as searing as stellar flares!
