"Hey, Sasuke, watch your back!"
In the stands, Naruto stood beside Kakashi. When he saw what was happening, he waved frantically toward the arena and shouted.
But Sasuke Uchiha seemed to have eyes in the back of his head. Before Naruto's voice could even reach his ears,
he spun around.
A flying kick swept through the air with a savage gust, its edge sharp enough to slice through space itself, and slammed into Akado Yoroi's chest.
The kick was unbelievably fast. More than half the spectators couldn't even catch the blur of Sasuke Uchiha turning; they saw only a flash.
The wind beneath his foot could do nothing but let out a piercing whistle.
The instant the kick struck Akado Yoroi's chest, a muffled boom erupted, as though the entire examination hall had shuddered with it.
Even the wall that Great Dragon Fire had scorched black trembled faintly under the impact, as if struck by an invisible aftershock.
Akado Yoroi had barely emerged before he was blasted back into the wall, sinking another inch deeper.
Only then did Sasuke Uchiha slowly raise his head.
"Dead last, I don't need you to tell me."
"Stuck-up Sasuke."
Naruto folded his arms, somewhat speechless, and watched Sasuke in the arena below.
He muttered something under his breath, but he wasn't really angry.
The entire spectator gallery, however,
erupted into excitement over Sasuke's vicious side kick!
"Wooooow!"
"That's a member of the Uchiha Clan for you!"
"As expected of an Uchiha... he can toy with his opponent however he wants."
Conversations sprang up all over the stands.
The anxious atmosphere from moments earlier vanished completely.
Kakashi Hatake simply stared, lost in thought over Sasuke's side kick.
