Screams and the constant bursting of human muscle and bone rose one after another, driving their way into everyone's minds alongside splattering blood and a nauseating stench.
Faced with such a bloody, brutal spectacle, some of the more weak-stomached people vomited on the spot. Even their battle-hardened boss, Penguin, felt a little queasy at the sight.
Of course, the carnage didn't last long. A few dozen seconds later, all the screaming died away.

Casually tossing aside the lump in his hand that could barely be called human, Jack walked over, covered in blood but looking thoroughly relaxed.
Make no mistake-all that blood had splashed onto him from those unfortunate bastards. He hadn't suffered so much as a scratch.

Suppressing his slight discomfort, Penguin stepped forward to thank Jack. Though they were both Zuo Ci's subordinates, Jack was clearly closer to their boss and on much better terms with him.
Penguin knew his place very well, so he deliberately adopted a humble attitude around Jack.
