After a smooth voyage, everyone finally arrived at their destination for this operation: Thraxia, home to the Coalition headquarters.
It was Zuo Ci's first visit to an alien planet, and he had come brimming with curiosity and anticipation. To some extent, the planet lived up to his expectations.
Honestly, though, Zuo Ci was still a little disappointed. The place looked far too much like Earth. It was basically just a high-tech version of it.
Still, that was understandable. Humans couldn't imagine things they had never seen, and Invincible didn't have much of a budget anyway, so forget about creativity.
"Say it a few more times and you'll get used to it. Once the war's over, I'll definitely take you to Little Unopa if we get the chance. It's-"
"Stop. Don't go throwing death flags around."
Back at headquarters, Allen seemed especially excited and had been chattering nonstop the whole way. Eventually, Zuo Ci couldn't take it anymore and interrupted him.
Chat all you want, but can you stop saying ominous stuff like, 'Once the war's over, I'll do this or that'? You're asking for trouble, planting flags like that.
"We'll have plenty of time to chat later. I think we should meet Chairman Thaedus first and discuss our next steps."
Superman stepped in to smooth things over. This was his first visit to an alien world as a guest, too, and he was just as curious as Zuo Ci.
But he hadn't forgotten why he was there. He intended to take care of business before anything else.
"All right, follow me."
With Thalia leading the way, they soon entered the headquarters building.
"This is headquarters. Now all we need to-"
