"Seriously, it's been half an hour. Why isn't this over yet? You can't just leave me hanging here forever."
High in the sky, Zuo Ci stared speechlessly at the bare-assed bird people flying back and forth around him.
(I know what you're thinking. Please get your minds out of the gutter, because angels have no sex, or even the corresponding organs.)
Honestly, when he had first been strung up, he had complained out loud, but deep down, he had actually enjoyed it. After all, a moment this badass probably only came once in a lifetime.
The problem was that becoming a spectacle was exciting once, but staying one indefinitely was another matter.
He had been hanging there for a full half hour now. Never mind whether he was tired-the main issue was that, after all this time, he was starting to need the bathroom.

But not a single one of those damned bird people paid him any attention. Like NPCs in a cutscene, they just flew around singing hymns until he was sick of hearing them.
"Shit, so you're ignoring me? One of these days, I'll rip their wings off and barbecue them."
Unable to do anything else, Zuo Ci could only pass the time swearing up in the sky.
At the same time, he settled on one thing in his heart.
No matter what happened, he would avoid going to that old bastard God whenever possible. This was fucking ridiculous!
What Zuo Ci might not have realized, though, was that while this scene was merely boring and irritating to him, it was utterly terrifying to everyone else-especially
