The instant Haido's attack struck, Miki Yūya's Observation Haki foresaw the lethal assault from his wheelchair. Every trajectory, its power, and its point of impact were calculated in his mind in a flash.

At the critical moment, he roared, seized He Yan's hand with one hand, and steered his wheelchair with the other.
The entire wheelchair spun half a turn on the spot, forcibly positioning the bewildered He Yan in front of him as a shield.

A savage shock wave swept through the entire secret chamber, sending stone chips and rubble flying!
He Yan had no time to react. His back took the full brunt of the attack.
Agonizing pain ripped through his entire body. The energy shredded flesh and robes alike, hurling him away like a rag doll.
Miki Yūya and his wheelchair slammed into the rock wall behind them.

The wheelchair shattered instantly, destroyed beyond repair.
The two crashed heavily to the ground, one after the other.
He Yan's bones were twisted and displaced all over his body. Blood gushed from his mouth, and he lost all strength to struggle, lying helpless on the ground.
Miki Yūya landed just as hard. He lay beside Elder He Yan, motionless and frighteningly quiet.
"Yūya!!"
Naruto's pupils contracted as he cried out.
"Are you all right?!"
Miki Yūya's voice was filled with resentment.
