Miki Yūya's shoulders stiffened when he heard that.
His gaze swept from Guy's green bodysuit to Rock Lee's, then from their collars down to their trouser cuffs. His brows knotted tightly, and disgust and disdain were written all over his face.
"What the hell are you two even good for?!"
"Besides dragging me down and making me carry dead weight, what use are you?"
After saying that, he deliberately took half a step back, as though afraid their green bodysuits might be contagious.
Rock Lee blinked.
"Carrying weight? I get it! Yūya, do you train by adding weights, just like us?"
"That's Yūya for you! Just as youthful as we are!"
At that, Rock Lee even took out the weights strapped to his legs.
"Burning youthful passion means pressing forward under a heavy load! Even though I can't unleash my youthful passion as an ordinary person like you, Yūya, I won't lose either!"
Guy hurriedly nodded too, raising his thick brows with a look that said, "That makes perfect sense."
"Lee, youth means stepping up when it matters most!"
"Guy-sensei!"
"Lee!"
Miki Yūya almost laughed out of sheer frustration.
"Can you two just shut up?!"
Guy immediately chimed in, his eyes frighteningly bright.
"Exactly! Silent passion is just as worthy of burning!"

He suddenly felt that trying to reason with these two was an exercise in self-torture.
