Great Wei's negotiations with the Tuxie and Chuyuan Dynasties took a full three rounds of talks.
After all, this concerned the First-Rank Divine Martial Cannon.
Even though Great Wei possessed thousands of Divine Martial Cannons, it still had to take the matter seriously.
Fortunately, with Xu Qingxiao's involvement, the Tuxie and Chuyuan Dynasties agreed to the deal.
Once both dynasties agreed, the next step was to prepare the resources for the exchange.
However, it was not as though the Tuxie and Chuyuan Dynasties failed to understand Great Wei's demands for the First-Rank Divine Martial Cannons.
Both dynasties vehemently refused to cede territory, rejecting that condition outright. They could accept paying gold and supplies, but at the first round of talks, neither dynasty would accept the various treaty clauses.
Only at the second round, after the demand to cede territory was dropped, did both dynasties agree. However, Great Wei then demanded an enormous quantity of gold, prompting the Tuxie and Chuyuan Dynasties to refuse once more.
In the final round, with Xu Qingxiao's involvement, both dynasties ultimately agreed.
As for the two dynasties-
They had anticipated demands for gold and supplies, but what they had not expected was that Great Wei wanted only gold and barely asked for any other supplies.
It asked for even less than it had when trading the Second-Rank Divine Martial Cannons.
This delighted both dynasties. After all, they had been prepared to make their entire populations tighten their belts if Great Wei demanded vast quantities of supplies.
But if it only wanted gold, that was not particularly painful. Gold could always be mined. If you said it was valuable, it was.
If you said it was worthless, it could be worthless too.
If they truly could not get by, they could always issue their own currency.
