"What are you trying to do?" King Riku watched Kuzan stride out as soon as he finished speaking, then hurried after him and asked.
"I'll go hold Blackbeard back first. Gather the troops and wait for my orders!" Kuzan's tone remained calm and cold, but King Riku could clearly sense the intense force mingled within it.
"You're going to your death!" King Riku said anxiously. "Blackbeard has powerful fighters everywhere under his command, with tens of thousands of pirates. What difference is there between going alone and throwing your life away for nothing?"
Kuzan slowed his steps and, unusually, revealed a smile. Turning to King Riku, he said, "Don't worry. I joined Uchiha Hikaru because I wanted to see how he would give the world a brand-new future. Before I see the result I want to see, I won't be willing to die so easily."
King Riku said worriedly, "But attacking Blackbeard so rashly is far too reckless. If something happens to you, how am I supposed to answer to the Alliance Leader? You are now a military official with real authority in the alliance, personally appointed by the Alliance Leader. You must not act so foolishly."
"I know what I'm doing!" Kuzan still did not listen to King Riku. He turned to look into the distance, and a chill spread from his body. King Riku felt an icy cold seep through his entire body as Kuzan's tall figure rose from the ground, shot into the sky, and departed in a blaze of defiance.
