As two enormous rings of light swept outward, waves upon waves of terrifying air currents followed. Uchiha Hikaru and Otsutsuki Kaguya bore the brunt of it, both struck head-on by the powerful shockwave and sent flying as they vomited blood.
Hikaru felt as though the crushing weight of Mount Tai had once again hammered down upon every limb and bone in his body. Every bone creaked, every cell seemed to be burning, and every nerve ending viciously assaulted his central nervous system.
"Pfft!"
Hikaru finally failed to withstand the terrifyingly powerful impact. After spitting out a mouthful of blood, the intense burning in his chest and abdomen eased considerably, but he was still blasted away like a cannonball and smashed into the ground.
Otsutsuki Kaguya was in an even more miserable state. She had been at the very center of the explosion and suffered a shockwave even stronger than Uchiha Hikaru's. After being blasted away, the tattered Kaguya was nearly unconscious, completely unaware that her body was partially exposed.
Holy Land Mary Geoise was blown apart by the terrifying blast. The entire island finally collapsed completely. Every building crumbled, and countless deep chasms split open across the earth, stretching in every direction as though the whole island were about to shatter into countless pieces.
Even more countless were those who died in the shockwave. Ordinary people were basically killed on the spot, bleeding from all seven orifices as their internal organs were pulverized. Worse still were those struck directly by the shockwave and blown apart instantly, their blood burned into ash without leaving even a trace behind.
Only Celestial Dragons protected by guards of considerable strength were able to escape disaster under their protection.
For example, the fairly fortunate Waldo had more than a dozen CP0 agents at his side.
