Hikaru drifted in and out of consciousness, switching back and forth between wakefulness and unconsciousness. He would occasionally wake up, only to pass out again from the intense headache. He felt as though he had had an incredibly bizarre dream.
In the dream, he had been swept a great distance by the waves before a sea monster leaped from the ocean and swallowed him whole. After Hikaru was swallowed, the sea monster carried him as it swam onward... Although Hikaru's central nervous system had been severely damaged, his senses had finally recovered after moving away from Otsutsuki Kaguya. Thus, even after being swallowed by the sea monster, he could still sense a little of his own condition whenever he first woke up.
However, before the sea monster had carried Hikaru very far, another, even larger sea beast appeared. It did not spare the sea monster that had swallowed Hikaru, biting it to death in one bite before devouring it in two more.
Hikaru found it utterly absurd. At such a critical moment, he could not even control himself and could only let the two sea monsters carry him all over the world.
He occasionally thought about the foundation he had built in Dressrosa whenever he first woke up. Would Dressrosa, without him there to oversee it, become the target of other forces again? Was the Uchiha Alliance developing smoothly? Were the nations under its command paying lip service while acting otherwise?
Hikaru's condition fluctuated constantly. He lay inside the sea beast's belly, but he had not been sucked into its stomach. Instead, he was wedged in a narrow space, drifting between consciousness and unconsciousness.
