Within the Soul Society, ninety-nine percent of people were not qualified to enter the Spirit King Palace, let alone swagger in as they did now, carrying not-so-friendly intentions.
Uchiha Hikaru was the first to enter the Spirit King Palace. Looking at the five Spirit King detached palaces floating in midair ahead, a strange smile appeared on his face!
"Stop! Who are you? Why have you trespassed into the Spirit King Palace?" A furious roar came from a burly bald man wearing enormous brown prayer beads.
Uchiha Hikaru frowned slightly. Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni then emerged from the passage behind him.
The moment the burly man saw Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni, his expression immediately changed. "So it's Captain Yamamoto!"
"What brings you to the Spirit King Palace at this time?"
Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni smiled faintly. "We've come to see the Spirit King. Please lead the way."
The burly man frowned. Then Kisuke Urahara and Kurosaki Ichigo stepped out from behind Uchiha Hikaru as well!
"Captain Yamamoto, who are these people?" the burly man asked coolly, vigilance appearing on his face.
Meanwhile, Uchiha Hikaru turned his head and surveyed the surroundings. The so-called Spirit King Palace was merely a new space created through technology.
This space was not particularly large, roughly half the size of Seientei. At the entrance stood rows of enormous white pillars, each so thick that even twelve people linking arms might not have been able to encircle one.
Beyond the white pillars was an immense staircase slanting upward at a forty-five-degree angle, leading directly to the Spirit King's massive cylindrical palace. Strangely, its two sides tapered into cone-like shapes!
Just as Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni was about to answer, an overwhelming voice descended from the air. It was gentle, without the slightest trace of hostility.
"Uchiha Hikaru, you've finally come."
