Women might at least have some reservations, but children acted almost entirely on their own likes and dislikes. They did not care about anyone else's reservations.
As the Little Princess of the Senju Clan, Tsunade did whatever she wanted. Her nerve was no ordinary thing—so what if this was Uchiha territory? Who would dare do anything to her?
Tsunade directly put on an air of, "This princess isn't leaving. What are you going to do about it?"
"Eh!!!"
She waved her little fist at Hikaru's retreating back, then was quickly stunned.
Hikaru was actually cooking!!!!
Although the Naruto World revered strength, few men privately chose to cook like women did. This was especially true for members of the major clans. Cooking and laundry were basically women's work; to put it bluntly, male chauvinism was rather severe.
Men who could cook and were willing to cook were rare. Children who could cook were even rarer!!!
"Pfft~~~"
Seeing Hikaru carrying a Rice Cooker bigger than his own head made for such a comical sight that Tsunade burst out laughing.
What the hell are you laughing at?! Never seen someone cook before?!
Hikaru glared at Tsunade. Humming, Tsunade wiped the smile off her face and glared right back at him.
Hikaru decided to ignore her and do his own thing. Though he was exhausted and badly wanted to collapse into bed, he had to fill his stomach first—and send this Senju Clan Little Princess away while he was at it!
Though he looked tiny and the scene was strange, what truly surprised Tsunade was that Hikaru really could cook. He was not putting on an act.
A fragrant smell soon drifted out of the kitchen. Tsunade, who had already been hungry, felt her stomach rumble again. Her little face flushed red, and she was glad Hikaru was in the kitchen and had not heard it. Otherwise, it would have been too embarrassing.
The sound earlier had already embarrassed her enough.
"Come eat."
He casually made something to eat, tossed the rest into the refrigerator, and called Tsunade over. Right now, Hikaru only wanted to finish eating quickly and send Tsunade away. As for the food, anything would do.
Tsunade looked at the two large plates Hikaru was carrying and hesitated. Though she had secretly swallowed her saliva, her heart was still conflicted, two voices constantly battling in her mind.
One told Tsunade not to eat, while the other told her to hurry up and eat. Filling her stomach was what mattered most.
It was like an angel and a devil fighting inside her heart.
Hikaru's real age was not five. Seeing that Tsunade clearly wanted to eat yet was hesitating, he knew what she was worried about. He shrugged, set Tsunade's portion on the table in the yard, and went into the wooden cabin himself.
"Eat!!!"
Hikaru set down the food and left. Tsunade stared at the food on the table, but in the end, she could not bear the misery of hunger any longer. Gritting her teeth, she lifted the plate and began eating in huge mouthfuls. Mm~ So delicious!!!
"Pfft—cough, cough!!!"
Earlier that day, their teacher had joked that Tsunade and Hikaru were in love. Even though it had only been a joke, it had left Tsunade feeling uncomfortable all day, and she had barely eaten lunch. She was already starving. If she had not wanted an explanation from Hikaru, she would have gone home for dinner long ago.
Now, starving and with Hikaru's food tasting quite good, she got too eager and immediately choked.
"Slow down. The food's hot..."
Watching Tsunade choke until her face and neck turned red, Hikaru set a glass of cool water on the table and turned to leave.
"..."
Holding her spoon, Tsunade blankly watched Hikaru return to the wooden cabin. Strangely enough, her coughing stopped, though her throat still felt a little uncomfortable from choking.
A strange warm current suddenly passed through her heart. Even Tsunade herself did not know why.
She slowly lifted the water and took a sip, then picked up her spoon and began eating in big mouthfuls. After that, she did not choke again.
Soon, the plate was empty. Tsunade silently set down her spoon, then got up and left.
"She finally left."
