A sign stood before the desert, bearing the words Geya Desert. Uchiha Hikaru had heard long ago what this desert was like. They said that many who entered never returned; out of ten people who went in, nine could not make it back out.
Although the situation was so dangerous, he had already arrived before the desert, and there was no fear in his heart. He felt that as long as he held a firm conviction in his heart, nothing could defeat him.
Moreover, crossing that hill earlier had already given him much strength. After hearing that woman say so much to him, he knew that his resolve had gradually begun to grow stronger.
Thus, under the current circumstances, Uchiha Hikaru's overall abilities had gradually improved considerably. He felt there was nothing left to worry about, so long as he carefully made his way through this stretch of road.
"Young man, I will accompany you on this part of the journey. Did you encounter a woman earlier? She also refused your request, and I was sent by her to accompany you."
A young man suddenly appeared before Uchiha Hikaru, startling him greatly. Yet what filled his heart even more was joy and gratitude. He had not expected that the young woman had truly meant what she said after refusing him earlier.
He had never expected that while walking through such a vast desert, someone would accompany him. With someone beside him, perhaps this long stretch of time would pass a little faster.
He
