At first, Uchiha Hikaru had not planned to get to the bottom of this matter. He knew it would be a long process, so there was no way he could figure it out so quickly.
So he had planned to take things slowly. That was fine too; after all, time could wash away everything, and he was not in such a hurry to know the answer.
But Uchiha Hikaru had noticed that Spinach had been out of sorts lately. He did not know what was wrong, but Spinach always avoided places where everyone gathered and hid alone in the small room.
Yet Uchiha Hikaru felt that this was definitely not like Spinach. He was usually such a lively, cheerful boy, so how could he shut himself away in a room?
There had to be something he did not want to talk about, something that had made him become like this. Uchiha Hikaru wanted to ask what exactly had put him in this state.
But Uchiha Hikaru also thought that if Spinach truly did not want to talk about it, what use was there in asking? Perhaps it would be fine to ask him when he wanted to speak someday.
What Uchiha Hikaru feared most was some huge problem that could not be solved. If it really was something like that, then even he would be unable to help Spinach with his own abilities.
What would they do if that really happened? He was especially afraid that Spinach might come down with some serious illness. After all, Spinach was not that strong physically. Even if Uchiha Hikaru had great abilities to help him, there were things he simply could not do.
And now, at such a critical time, there were so many things to do. His energy was limited, and he
