The several fighters clashed as if they had prepared for it long ago.
He looked at the scene with some speechlessness. Fights like this were simply too commonplace; there was no chance of seeing anything different from other times. At most, they would discover battles between opponents of different levels during other stages.
"Don't think this will make me give up. Impossible."
The warrior who had been somewhat unwilling to fight no longer entertained such thoughts. All he wanted now was to fight.
Because he knew that only battle could solve the problem, and only battle could help him hold on to his current position. If he chose to give up that position, it could only be called retreat.
How could a powerful warrior choose to retreat? That was absolutely impossible. It had not been possible in the past, and it was even less possible now. He wanted to step onto the arena and seize the ranking he needed.

A powerful burst of energy erupted, and the surrounding contestants immediately left their original positions. After finding safer spots nearby, they began watching the show.
They knew this was normal. Before the competition even began, there would be a contest like this, a rather obvious way to determine who was strong and who was weak.
Although this would leave many people dissatisfied, was it truly fair once they stood on the arena? Of course not.
There was no real fairness in martial contests. If you had the ability, first place on the arena was yours. If you did not, someone else would replace you. This was an unchanging rule that had existed since ancient times, something passed down among everyone.
Basically, everyone understood the issue and knew how to maintain this balance. They would not casually break the key principle
