Uchiha Hikaru looked at the figure that emerged. His entire body was covered in wounds; there was practically nowhere without an injury.

When Bulma and the others saw him, they could not bear to keep looking and turned their heads away. Hikaru, however, felt nothing of the sort. He saw the man's face clearly, along with his battered, hole-ridden body, and truly had no idea how he had survived.

"Who is he?"

Uchiha Hikaru looked at the man standing before him, who looked like a corpse yet was somehow alive, and felt furious. Someone actually dared to oppose him. That had never happened before, but it would be resolved soon enough.

"You don't know him?"

Hearing him, the patrol captain felt somewhat frustrated. Then, as if he had forgotten something, he slapped his forehead and spoke smugly.

"Oh, right, I almost forgot. Of course you don't know him, but I can tell you his name."

The patrol captain looked at him with an extremely arrogant expression. Especially at a time like this, his attitude made the issue at hand all the more obvious. Of course, he might have had other thoughts as well, but those were merely superficial matters. In another situation, it might have been a different story.

Compared with before, the matter at hand was far from simple. It was more about improvement and growth in strength, or perhaps the balancing of power—finding ways to make oneself stronger, even if that power represented supreme might.
