Then Uchiha Hikaru turned to Miss Kobayashi, held out a hand to her, and said with a smile:
"All right, everything's settled. Let's go."
Hearing Uchiha Hikaru's words, Miss Kobayashi froze slightly. Then she looked up at him and asked:
"So we're just leaving him here? Won't that be dangerous? What if someone does something to him? What would you do then?
Didn't you say you had some ties with his father? If anything happens to him, what are we supposed to do?"
Hearing her question, Uchiha Hikaru smiled and said:
"Don't worry, Yui. Don't you know what I'm capable of? Since I dared to leave him here like this, I naturally have other arrangements. Just follow me."
"Besides, didn't you see that I already set up a barrier around him? My barriers are actually very powerful. No matter who it is, anyone who tries to touch it will immediately be repelled."
Hearing Uchiha Hikaru's words, Miss Kobayashi tilted her head, looking utterly confused, and asked:
"I can understand sealing him inside a barrier, but didn't you just call his father? If his father comes later, won't he be unable to open the barrier either?"
Hearing what Miss Kobayashi meant, Uchiha Hikaru smiled and explained:
"Don't worry, I've arranged everything. I already told him the incantation to open the barrier over the phone."
Only then did Miss Kobayashi finally relax. She smiled and said:
"I never expected a ninja like you to be so amazing. Even barriers need incantations to open them. It's just like something out of a comic book."
Hearing Miss Kobayashi's words, Uchiha Hikaru did not even know where to begin complaining. He could not exactly tell her that this was already a comic-book world, so he simply laughed it off.
