Such An Important Day, And I Overslept!

"What the heck!!!"

Tsunade's small face flushed red, and she stomped her foot in dissatisfaction. How could anyone talk about someone like that?

Orochimaru, standing to the side, glanced at the two indifferently, showing no reaction.

This scene didn't seem to be the first time it had happened. It was only when encountering Hikaru that Tsunade showed the demeanor expected of a girl. Usually... she was too violent.

He kept muttering as he ran.

Jiraiya rushed into the school, out of breath, and arrived at the training ground. He quickly looked around and let out a sigh of relief when he saw only Hikaru, Tsunade, and Orochimaru there. He collapsed onto the ground.

"I'm exhausted. I thought the teacher was already here."

"..."

Hikaru and Orochimaru stared at Jiraiya speechlessly. Being late on such an important day, they really admired his guts. Did he go out stealing last night?

"Idiot!! The only person who could be late at a time like this is you!!!"

Tsunade scolded him, frustrated by his lack of self-control.

Seeing Jiraiya's messy appearance, especially his hair, which had two clumps of sleep in the corners of his eyes, it was clear he had overslept and rushed here in a panic, without even having time to wash up.

Jiraiya quickly wiped his face and scratched his hair, trying to play it off. Although he wished he could find a hole to crawl into, he still tried to brush it off with a laugh.
