Everyone watched as a rare trace of gloom appeared on Uchiha Hikaru's face, which was usually so calm and confident. They could not help secretly wondering what could make him care so much about this money.
The most curious was Law. He was currently filling in as Uchiha Hikaru's butler, so he knew exactly how much money Hikaru had. Law did not believe Hikaru lacked money to buy ships; after all, Hikaru had more than enough to buy several more ships. There was no need for him to rush to earn the bounty on a hundred thousand pirates.
"You seem to be in a hurry to use money?" Hina asked. She had always liked anyone who cracked down on pirates, so although she had found Uchiha Hikaru rather objectionable just moments ago, hearing that he had captured a hundred thousand pirates had finally improved her impression of him somewhat. "Two Nine Zero."
"Could this be why you want to become a pirate?" Hina followed up immediately. She was still convinced that Uchiha Hikaru wanted to be a pirate.
Hikaru rolled his eyes at her. "I'll say it again: I'm not a pirate, and I don't want to be one!"
Being a pirate was so boring. It damaged his image and made everyone fear him. Wherever he went, people would guard against him like he was a plague. If word got back to Konoha, would they not laugh themselves to death? The glorious light of the Uchiha clan had actually become a bandit?
Hina's gaze quietly shifted toward Law, Jinbe, and Urouge. Clearly, he had gathered three pirates with considerable strength in the New World. If he said he did not want to be a pirate, not a single person would believe Uchiha Hikaru.
Hikaru was speechless. He felt utterly helpless.
