Everyone on the ship was in an uproar. They had long heard of Uchiha Hikaru's reputation—he was said to have defeated the G-5 base commander, defeated a Sweet Commander, and defeated a Shichibukai. At the height of his fame, people throughout the New World had imitated him. But news from the papers had always felt somewhat unreal.
Now that they finally saw Uchiha Hikaru make a move, instantly subduing even a commander of the Germa army, they finally witnessed his formidable strength firsthand.
"What did you say?" Though Niji had been restrained by Hikaru, his expression remained arrogant. "You dare threaten me?"
Crack!
With a burst of force from Hikaru's arm, power jolted through Niji's arm. A sickening crack rang out, and Niji's left arm snapped at once.
"Ugh!" Niji had no emotions, but he could still feel pain. He had not expected Uchiha Hikaru to act the moment he spoke, without the slightest hint of bluffing.
"A bone broken by force can still be set." Hikaru sneered. "But if it gets chopped off, I don't know whether it can be reattached! Oh! One of my men can reattach severed limbs, but his price is much higher!"
Niji's eyes turned incomparably cold. Even with his arm broken by Uchiha Hikaru, his refusal to yield only made the teasing smile on Hikaru's face grow broader.
"You still don't seem to understand. The Germa army poses no threat to me whatsoever!" Hikaru exerted force again, and Niji's bones crackled and popped all over his body. Not only were his limbs shattered, but many other bones had been broken as well. "I don't even put the Four Emperors in my eyes. Do you really think a mere Germa can make me wary?"
The others aboard the ship fell silent as cicadas in winter.
