The battle on the sea had finally ended. Wreckage still billowing thick smoke floated across the water, but everyone knew that once it sank to the ocean floor, all traces of this battle would vanish without a trace.
Uchiha Hikaru floated above the sea like a deity, watching the brief battle gradually settle. The surviving pirates in the water were hauled up by the fish-men, bound, and dragged toward Dressrosa.
In the distance, the Jel... Legion ultimately chose to retreat quietly without making any reckless moves. Uchiha Hikaru found that rather regrettable. He had actually hoped the Jel... Legion would court death, giving him an excuse to intervene in the affairs of the North Blue powers.
With everything settled, Hikaru lightly drifted down and landed on a nearby warship.
The vice admiral in command of the warship immediately strode over and saluted Hikaru. "Thank you for lending us your aid, sir. On behalf of all Marine officers and soldiers, I offer you our gratitude!"
Hikaru gave him a look but could not recognize this vice admiral at all. He clearly was not one of those elite vice admirals from Marine Headquarters. He must have been promoted at some point, and his strength was utterly ordinary. No wonder Jack had chased him around.
"Where's Momousagi?" Hikaru asked, looking around. "I remember Momousagi was leading the fleet a few days ago! We're friends. Call her over!"
The vice admiral said dejectedly, "Vice Admiral Momousagi returned to Marine Headquarters after completing the handover yesterday. If Vice Admiral Momousagi had been here, how could she have allowed these pirates to act so arrogantly? It is only because I am too weak that I have disgraced the Marines."
