Spell name: Thousand Illusions Wisteria
Basic attributes: Intermediate Wood Talisman Art
Spell category: Offensive spell; Orthodox Unity Heavenly Gang Talisman Art of the Celestial Master Order
Affiliated school: Celestial Master Order of Mount Heming
Brief description: A wood-element talisman attack art; wherever the wood talisman reached, wisteria assumed a thousand forms and vines wove a net, binding people or objects in an instant.
Spell weaknesses: More effective when cast on inanimate objects; otherwise, targeting was more difficult. At higher levels, however, this art could completely disregard the target's agility. Also, if grass-killing toxin coated the surface to which the talisman adhered, use this art with caution.
Recorded appearance: In Chapter Three of Volume Six, "Clouds Fly, Swords Dance Across a Thousand Miles," Celestial Master Order disciple Zhang Yuner demonstrated this art for the soldiers of Nanhai Commandery. The talisman flew out on the wind and drifted down onto a broken millstone fragment, where a strange transformation began: rooted in the talisman paper, one became two, two became four, rapidly spawning hundreds upon thousands of vines that twisted and snaked, shifting and interweaving into a dense net that tightly enveloped several broken pieces of the stone mill. Afterward, these stone fragments, wrapped in the wisteria net, were lifted into the air by an unseen force and deposited in a nearby ditch.
