The images on the Sky Screen continued.
Watching the brothers who had followed him die one after another, watching the Knights he had built with his own hands fall apart, watching everything he had spent his life protecting crumble, Joy Boy felt endless grief and anguish well up inside him.
But he did not fall.
To buy one last chance of survival for the remaining sparks fleeing in all directions, to protect the world's last faint glimmer of equality and freedom, Joy Boy forced down all his pain, all his despair, and the exhaustion that brought him to the brink of death.
One final blaze of resolve ignited in his eyes as he gathered every last shred of his will and strength!
"Imu!"
His furious roar shook the mountains and rivers!
Joy Boy burst forward, wrapped in the last of his power. He became a streak of light and charged straight at Imu, throwing all caution aside!
The images on the Sky Screen suddenly raced ahead. Overlapping flashes of their fierce clash flickered past.
The scene changed. The smoke cleared, and the fighting ended.
In its place stood an immense, magnificent white jade plaza towering into the clouds-the new Holy Land of royal power, the center of the world.
A group of lavishly dressed figures with markedly different auras stood in orderly ranks. They were all followers Imu had selected, branded with the dominion mark, and brought alive through mountains of corpses and seas of blood.
They stood with their heads high and chests out, their expressions fanatical, their eyes filled with the excitement and pride of reaching the summit and taking control of the world.
At the far end of the plaza, a throne stood high above them.
Clad in black robes, Imu sat silently upon it, looking down
