To Indra, strength, results, and achievements were the only standards that mattered.
He had done everything flawlessly. He was certain to win this trial.
But as he raced along, the air in the deserted wilderness suddenly turned cold.
His footsteps stopped abruptly!
Indra's dark pupils narrowed slightly. Chakra silently surged through his body as his vigilance rose to its peak.
He sensed a presence lurking in the shadows-faint, chilling, and familiar.

The moment his words fell, a shadowy black figure slowly emerged from the ground.

Black Zetsu greeted him first, his tone calm and his smile familiar.

Seeing Black Zetsu appear so suddenly, Indra knitted his brows, his eyes filled with cold suspicion.
Since their last encounter, he had known that Black Zetsu was mysterious and deeply calculating, certainly no one to trust.

Indra dispensed with pleasantries and went straight to the point, demanding coldly:
"Why have you suddenly come looking for me?"

"I just happened to learn two pieces of information. Since I thought they would be crucial to you, I came specifically to tell you."
Indra's gaze darkened slightly. He watched him silently, waiting for him to continue.
He knew perfectly well that Black Zetsu would never offer a favor for nothing.
This supposed information was bound to conceal some scheme or ulterior motive.
Black Zetsu paused briefly, deliberately whetting Indra's curiosity before lowering his voice and speaking slowly.
