The saliva-stained brush in Zhuo Wu's hand gave off a faint glow, and he drew a talisman in a few strokes.
Among the people who had gathered after hearing him say they could rest, a dark-skinned male college student with rather delicate features heard Zhuo Wu's grumbling and couldn't help speaking up. "Bro, with your sequence, going to school wouldn't have helped anyway."
"We study things like math, physics, chemistry, history, and biology. Then there are all kinds of majors in college. Unless someone specifically studies Taoist culture, we're pretty much all in the same boat."
Hearing this, Zhuo Wu stopped what he was doing, picked up the finished talisman, tossed it into the air, and muttered for a while.
The next second, an invisible ripple swept outward.
Everyone it touched felt refreshed from head to toe, as though the scorching weather and heat had vanished altogether.
Only then did Zhuo Wu look at the student who had spoken. "You've got a point. But isn't your bro Zhuo fucking awesome?"
The college student gave him a thumbs-up. "You're fucking awesome, bro Zhuo!"
As he spoke, the survivors gathered around raised their thumbs, each holding a container in their other hand, and shouted, "Bro Zhuo is fucking awesome!"
"Hahahahaha!" With his hands on his hips, Zhuo Wu looked at the people whose exhaustion and heat had been swept away by a single talisman. "I'm the fucking best!"
With that, he licked the tip of his brush again and began the next talisman.
A moment later, three talismans floated in front of Zhuo Wu.
He held his index and middle fingers together in a sword gesture, caught the first talisman on the left between them, and called to the people around him, "Get ready, everyone! Water's coming!"
"Water-Gathering Talisman!"
As his mental
