After another exchange, Tony used the Rabbit Talisman's speed to swiftly put some distance between himself and Malekith, looking down at Gungnir in his hand in frustration.
Gungnir was certainly powerful, and Tony was no weakling either. The problem was that he had no idea how to wield a spear. After charging into close combat with Malekith in a burst of enthusiasm, he had quickly found himself on the defensive, taking hit after hit.
If he had not been so strong and fast, he might already have been seriously injured.
While Tony wore a frustrated expression, Malekith's face was terrifyingly dark.
From their very first exchange, he had realized that Tony did not know how to use a spear. He had thought that would let him defeat Tony quickly, but the outcome had been completely unexpected.
Tony surpassed him in both speed and strength. Despite his lack of technique, those advantages had allowed him to fight Malekith to a standstill. To Malekith, that was an utter humiliation.
Their expressions differed, but at that moment, their moods were much the same.
Glancing at Malekith's dark expression, Tony suddenly gave a carefree smile. "I've had my fun. Time to stop playing."
With that, Tony hurled Gungnir with a mighty heave.
Gungnir instantly became a streak of light, hurtling toward Malekith.
Malekith's pupils contracted, but his reaction was just as swift. He immediately threw the King's Sword to intercept Gungnir.
The two divine artifacts opened a separate battlefield of their own, clashing furiously.
Losing his weapon had no effect on Tony at all. With a thought, terrifying flames appeared before him and gathered into a fire dragon.
Under Tony's mental control, the fire dragon instantly charged at Malekith, scorching the starry expanse with a crackling hiss wherever it passed.
