As Thor watched Hela standing with her arms folded, staring at him with a faint, ambiguous smile, he felt a mountain of pressure bearing down on him.
Especially as the distance between them narrowed, Thor began to feel short of breath.
This was not entirely psychological. It stemmed from the disparity in their strength.
The greater the disparity, the harder it was for the weaker party to stand against the stronger one.
Fortunately, Thor had grown considerably stronger than before. Though the pressure Hela exerted was immense, he could still withstand it.
"Well, if it isn't my dear little brother!"
"What brings you here?"
Hela spoke in an exaggerated tone. Despite the broad smile on her face, there was not a trace of feeling in her voice.
In fact, a hint of killing intent had unconsciously crept into it, cold and merciless.
She had been sealed away for thousands of years, enduring boundless isolation and endless loneliness every day.
Time had long since worn away all her normal emotions, so naturally, she felt little for Thor. Not killing him outright was already an act of mercy.
Thor understood this perfectly well himself, so he had no intention of appealing to family ties.
He had decided what to say before coming. At Hela's question, Thor took a deep breath, steadied himself, and said calmly, "I've brought you some news. I imagine you'll be interested."
"Oh? What is it?"
"Someone wants to destroy Asgard!"
Thor's declaration was startling.
Hela froze for a moment at his words, then burst into wild laughter.
"You're not talking about me, are you?"
"Of course not!"
"Then what does that have to do with me? I'd love nothing more than to see Asgard destroyed. Even if no one else does it, I will. So what's the point
