In Midgard, blood rained down once more, and a profound sorrow filled heaven and earth. Thor and the others watched, their expressions frozen.
"A-another god has fallen!"
"H-how is that possible!"
Thor spoke with a grim expression, his voice faltering.
Gods had not fallen for thousands of years, yet two had died in succession today. It shattered everything he thought he knew.
He was not the only one. Hela beside him looked just as grim.
She felt that her authority had been challenged. She was Asgard's goddess of death.
Yet now, gods of Asgard had fallen without her even knowing. This was the greatest provocation imaginable!
"To Asgard!"
Hela snorted coldly and issued the order, then turned and flew toward Asgard.
Thor snapped out of his daze, his pupils contracting. He hurried forward to block her. "No! Going to Asgard now would be walking straight into a trap."
"Move!"
Hela's voice was icy.
Thor shook his head firmly.
Every bit of strength was crucial to defeating Tony, especially a powerhouse like Hela. He could not let her go after Tony now.
"I told you, you'd be walking straight into a trap."
"Who gave you the nerve to stand in my way?"
Hela's lips curved into an icy smile, and two beams of divine light shot from her eyes.
A powerful, oppressive aura radiated from her, spreading in every direction.
Captain and the others felt their breath catch, their faces tense. Were these two about to fight right now?
As the others fretted, Thor's expression grew solemn at the sight.
He knew he was no match for Hela, but he would not step aside. He insisted, "What we need to do now is gather everyone's strength to fight Tony, not act recklessly."
"You saw it yourself. Tony really can kill gods.
