At first, the Gods had no idea why Tyr had summoned them, but the moment they saw Tony, they all realized what was going on.
At once, many of their expressions changed.
Tony's strength was no empty boast. He had proven it on the battlefield. Strictly speaking, these Gods had witnessed his battle with Malekith themselves.
So, once they guessed why they had been summoned, many of them began looking at Tyr with hostility.
Tyr naturally sensed the Gods' attitude, but he did not care. He intended to use Tony to unite these Gods who said one thing and meant another.
Otherwise, who knew how long it would take him to establish enough authority among the Gods on his own? After all, none of these fellows would act without something to gain.
So Tyr completely ignored their hostile gazes. Instead, he fixed his eyes on Tony and pressed him further. "Loki must die today."
"He has already hunted down three Gods, so he absolutely cannot be allowed to live!"
There was no denying that Tyr was clever.
Tony could tell at a glance that he was using this matter to divert the Gods' attention and instantly unite them.
Sure enough, the Gods who had looked so hostile just moments ago all fell silent upon hearing his words.
This concerned every one of their lives. Even though many saw through Tyr's intentions, they silently played along.
"Interesting. Very interesting. Are all the Gods here?"
Tony abruptly changed the subject. The shift was so sudden that Tyr did not even grasp what he meant at first and answered instinctively.
"Everyone who should be here has arrived."
Tony nodded at that, his voice growing low. "Good."
The Gods looked puzzled, still unable to understand what Tony meant. But a second later, they understood.
