Tony spoke softly, and Potts soon calmed down on the other end of the line. Then she slowly explained what had happened.
Tony listened quietly without saying a word. Only after she finished did he speak. "So that's what happened. All right, don't worry. Leave this to me. I'll handle it."
"Can... can you really handle it?"
Potts sounded doubtful. Tony's lips immediately curved into a smile, and he said leisurely, "Relax. There's nothing I can't handle. Get some rest. I'll come see you once I'm done."
With that, Tony hung up.
As the call ended, Tony's icy voice rang through the villa. "A bunch of fools who don't know their place. They dared to betray me? They're asking to die!"
"No. 1, find me the addresses of all those people."
"Understood. Searching."
No. 1's stiff voice answered. Compared with JARVIS, he was inferior in more ways than one, but Tony didn't care. As long as he could carry out his assigned tasks, that was enough.
Soon, a projection appeared on the wall. It was a map of New York City, marked with red dots. Every one represented a legislator targeting Stark Industries.
There were also several small black dots. Those represented people who had originally sided with Stark Industries, only to turn around and stab the company in the back when things started looking bad.
Looking at the marked locations, Tony's eyes flashed coldly. He went upstairs to change, then drove his silver-white supercar away from the Seaside Villa in Freedom City.
Manhattan was a hub of economics and politics, and also home to most of the legislators.
Tony drove into a neighborhood of villas, eventually getting out of his car and walking toward one of them.
Throughout the drive, he had been considering how to resolve this crisis
