Loki's crazed laughter echoed throughout the Temple. Then he looked at Thor as though he were an idiot. "Where exactly did you get the confidence to say something like that to my face?"

"Or did my helping you earlier make you think I wouldn't dare kill you?"

"How dare you speak so arrogantly to me!"

"Well, I'm right here, and I'll give you my answer myself: I refuse!"

"Come kill me, then. Let's see exactly how you plan to make me regret it!"

Loki shrugged, his expression brimming with confidence.

Thor did not offer a single retort as he listened.

Only after Loki finished speaking did Thor let out a sigh.

"I gave you a chance. Don't blame me."

At those words, Loki raised an eyebrow, an uneasy premonition rising in his heart.

Thor was too calm-unnaturally calm, as though he had been certain he could deal with Loki from the very beginning. But where exactly did that confidence come from?

Questions filled his mind. Just then, the space beside Thor suddenly rippled, and a moment later, the tall, slender Hela stepped out at Thor's side.

At the sight, Loki's expression finally changed, his brows drawing tightly together.

If he could thrash Thor, then Hela could undoubtedly thrash him.

What puzzled him, however, was how Hela had evaded his senses and appeared directly inside the Temple.

For several miles around him, everything had already become his dark territory. Within that territory, he was a god, able to sense everyone's whereabouts. No one could hide from him, not even in another layer of space.

Yet Hela had appeared out of nowhere like this. He simply could not understand it.

"How did you get here?"

Loki slowly rose from the Throne and looked down at Hela and Thor.
