A heavy roar of helicopter blades echoed across the skies above Manhattan, and countless citizens looked up, guessing amongst themselves what was happening.
Sitting inside the sports car, Tony listened to the commotion coming from overhead, and he gave Nick a deep look.
This guy was truly planning to fight him to the bitter end!
At this thought, an icy smile instantly curled the corners of Tony's mouth. Since they wanted to play, he would play big and see who could outlast whom.
Today, he was going to shatter the spine of S.H.I.E.L.D. and make them retreat three hundred paces the moment they laid eyes on him.
Thinking this, a thought flickered through Tony's mind. Instantly, with Tony as the center, black figures emerged continuously from the buildings within a three-kilometer radius.
They grew wings on their backs and resembled bats-they were none other than the only flying division in the Shadowkhan, the Shadow Night Bats!
As the helicopters approached the battlefield, the ready Shadow Night Bats surged into the sky. In an instant, the citizens of New York City witnessed a sight they would never forget in this lifetime.
The number of Shadow Night Bats seemed endless, directly blocking out the firmament. Darkness enshrouded a third of the area in Manhattan, and the sunlight completely vanished.

With that, the man hung up the phone.
On the battlefield, Nick let out a slight breath of relief.
Captain America, the former legend-he was also the trump card he had always kept in reserve!

Even more violent artillery fire rang out, and the entire Manhattan was thoroughly engulfed in smoke and gunpowder. Citizens in the other districts listened to the sounds of gunfire coming from the direction of Manhattan with vacant gazes.
What was going on today? Was the United States about to fall? Why was someone firing artillery in the urban area?
Countless people's hearts were filled with doubt, while a layer of shadow simultaneously settled over their minds.
