After some discussion, the two sides finally reached an agreement. Nick did not linger at the Life Foundation and soon rose to take his leave.

After leaving the Life Foundation, Nick got into the car, and his assistant drove him back to S.H.I.E.L.D.

On the way, his assistant asked hesitantly, "Director, why did you offer such generous terms?"

"If we really can take over Stark Industries, couldn't we absorb it ourselves? Why give outsiders a share?"
