On the battlefield, two hill-sized giants fought fiercely from over a hundred meters apart, seemingly evenly matched.
Outside the battlefield, Nick was about to send Steve and the others in to help, but when he spotted Victor in the sky behind Reed, he had no choice but to turn his attention to him.
Although Nick wasn't particularly powerful himself, his dealings with Tony and Loki had given him a keen sense that Victor was no ordinary opponent.
It was nothing more than a gut feeling, but he trusted it.
So Nick stopped watching Reed and focused all his attention on Victor.
"All of you, go deal with that guy!"
"Be careful. He's not someone to take lightly."
Nick spoke to Steve and the others with a grave expression.
Confusion immediately appeared on their faces, especially Thor's.
He had backed down before Tony and Loki, but that didn't mean he would do the same before anyone else.
He was Thor, Asgard's God of War, mighty and invincible!
"Don't look so worried. So he can fly. Just watch me deal with him."
Thor spoke with absolute confidence. Without waiting for Nick to reply, he charged straight out.
For a god, flight was a basic ability.
Flying past the two hulking brutes on the ground, Thor intercepted Victor.
He was just about to speak and show off his power, but before he could say anything, Victor told him to get lost.
Victor glanced coldly at Thor, seeing through his true nature at once, but he didn't care in the slightest.
A god, nothing more. He had seen plenty and killed plenty. They weren't anything special.
Hearing Victor tell him to get lost, Thor froze for a moment. When he recovered, anger surged through him.
*He was the mighty God of War of Asgard!
