"Mr. President, why have you called our corporations here?" Norman Osborn looked at the president who had interrupted his experiments, his eyes dull and lifeless.
Anyone could see that Norman Osborn was in a foul mood.
"Gentlemen, I apologize for bringing you here." The president's secretary politely bowed to Tony, Norman, and Woll, the president of the Vought Group.
"Just get to the point. Spare us the tired, boring pleasantries." Tony impatiently cut off the secretary before he could continue.
Tony hadn't been in a good state of mind lately, either. Rather than wait for a fifty-year-old man to drag his feet through a string of niceties, he would have preferred to go home and spend some time with Pepper Potts.
Meanwhile, besides Tony, Norman, and the other representatives of major corporations...
Representatives of corporations selling food, beverages, and other daily necessities had gathered in another room.
Most of the Military representatives had also arrived, along with representatives from the FBI, the Police, the Political Faction, and so on.
Virtually every organization affiliated with the United States government had sent representatives.
They were gathered in separate rooms to discuss the issues.
Of course, S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't among them. It hadn't received an invitation to this meeting.
If everyone on this floor were wiped out...
Half the United States would probably descend into chaos.
"We must impose sanctions on the nation exclusively for superhumans that may break away from Cherry Blossom Country."
That was the subject of today's meeting.
Superhumans establishing an independent nation had pushed the United States past the limits of its tolerance.
"Heh." Tony chuckled, paying no mind to the issue they had raised.
Tony now firmly believed that solving a problem required, above all, the status and strength to match it.
