• Ye Chu, Pei Yanchuan, Su Fengzi, Xiao Xiao, and their companions endured the school’s deadly rules, evaded its teachers, and learned that the yellow-eyed monster was turning students into followers.
• Pei Yanchuan repeatedly killed monsters chosen as Class Monitor until the Chinese Teacher appointed him to the role, while Ye Chu planned an investigation of the Laboratory Building.
• Ye Chu killed the Dormitory Matron, took control of the dormitory, and used its rules to summon and restrain the yellow-eyed monster as Pei Yanchuan found a handbook revealing the monster had altered the school’s rules.
• Ye Chu and Pei Yanchuan helped revise the rules, and the students locked away the monster before Xiao Xiao and Zhang Lian left the school and the players cleared the challenge.
• The friends celebrated at Ye Chu’s home, where drunk Ye Chu asked Pei Yanchuan to stay with him and revealed his wish for his parents to notice him, and Pei Yanchuan comforted him and confessed his feelings while he slept.
• Ye Chu and his teammates entered the “Run for Time” Instance, where Ye Chu met Xiao Chuan after a Person-Eater killed Xiao Chuan’s brother and offered to help him get revenge in exchange for shelter.
• Ye Chu reunited with Wu You, who explained that Person-Eaters had captured her after her phone rang, and learned that Pei Yanchuan was lost beneath a bridge after answering her call.
• Wu You noticed that Pei Yanchuan’s sharp canine teeth resembled the Person-Eaters’, suggesting he might blend in with them.

Ye Chu and his allies completed the city’s four checkpoints, then helped spark a rebellion that ended in betrayal and Xiao Chuan’s death. Back in the Rest House, they solved a murder mystery that exposed the characters’ tangled histories, and Su Fengzi admitted he was the killer before the group returned.

• Pei Yanchuan rescued Ye Chu from Qi Yu’s locked house, and Ye Chu reunited with Pei Yanchuan, Wu You, Su Fengzi, and Lu Rui to begin the city checkpoints.
• Ye Chu and his allies completed the Cannibal Hospital, Cannibal Park, and Cannibal Restaurant tasks, then helped Xiao Mei pass her test and reached 4/4 progress.
• Ye Chu and his allies raided the Person-Eaters’ armory with Meng Fan, inspiring Ordinary People across the city to rebel against their oppressors.
• Meng Fan’s rebels and the Person-Eaters’ army turned on Ye Chu’s group, and Xiao Chuan died protecting Ye Chu as Pei Yanchuan and Wu You transformed into wolves.
• The system declared the challenge complete, and the continued livestream showed Wen Yan bringing Person-Eaters and Ordinary People closer together, and afterward, Wu You shared her painful history and received support from her friends.
• Ye Chu and Pei Yanchuan entered the Murder Mystery instance, where the group investigated Huang He’s death and uncovered evidence pointing to their roles, secrets, and motives.
• The group exposed the suspects’ connections to Huang He, and Lu Rui admitted she had knocked Ye Chu out to test whether his tears became pearls.
• Ye Chu and the others narrowed the murder suspects to Pei Yanchuan and Su Fengzi, and Su Fengzi confessed before they completed the instance and returned to the Rest House.

Ye Chu and Pei Yanchuan became a couple while uncovering the Town Chief’s murderous scheme in the Ghost Opera Singer Instance. After the group completed the Instance, Ye Chu entered the Amnesia Maze, where he reunited with his missing older brother Ye Mo and confronted their painful separation.

• Su Fengzi encouraged Ye Chu to give Pei Yanchuan a chance, and Ye Chu later chose Pei Yanchuan and kissed him at the abandoned opera stage.
• Ye Chu and Pei Yanchuan investigated the Ghost Opera Singer deaths, uncovered the Town Chief’s murders and scheme to obtain a Longevity Elixir, and rescued Su Fengzi from a forced wedding.
• Ye Chu, Pei Yanchuan, Lu Rui, and Wu You stopped the Town Chief and his father-in-law from killing the banquet guests, and the players completed the Instance.
• Ye Chu and Pei Yanchuan celebrated their relationship with their friends, then Ye Chu gave Pei Yanchuan a qipao surprise for Children’s Day.
• Ye Chu entered the Amnesia Maze, gathered Memory Fragments, and met Ye Mo after the Silver-Horned King expelled him and erased his badge.
• Ye Chu experienced painful memories of his parents’ pressure and discovered that Ye Mo was his older brother, whom he accused of abandoning him after leaving for Tsinghua.
• Ye Mo insisted he had not abandoned Ye Chu but admitted he could not remember what happened after he left.
