Siffrin let go and looked at the three before her, trapped in the foggy Illusion. All she could do was let out a helpless sigh.
Her "Heart Blood Returns" had already activated, but this Miracle required the target's own willingness to take effect. They simply did not want to leave the Illusion. They were drowning in dreams of what they could not have, giving her Miracle no response at all.
Only now did Siffrin finally realize the terror of the Reverse Color Ladder: it required sorcerers to Entangle themselves in fog in order to stop the loss of color, but once too much fog Entangled them, sorcerers would sink deep into an Illusion of their own making. This was a trap, a deadly trap that made people willingly fall for it, yet left them unable to break free.
