Miracle: Soul Reflection!

Ash and Vishy suddenly collapsed into a pool of shadow and slid all the way down through the gaps in the elevator shaft!

However, from Ash's perspective, it felt as if he and Vishy had entered a pitch-black, gloomy pipe, with boundless darkness above, below, left, and right. Vishy was crawling on all fours in front of him. When Ash raised his head, he could see her high-heeled boots, the thighs slightly tightened by her purple over-the-knee stockings, the faintly visible interior beneath her lace maid miniskirt, and a plump flash of white traced between ***...

This should have been an exceptionally refreshing and wonderful view, but Ash only felt like he was about to go mad from suppression. It was so narrow, so cramped. Ash felt himself being squeezed from every direction and could only crawl gloomily onward, but no matter how he crawled, it felt like he was marching in place. A maddening sense of frustration filled his heart. Even the filthiest toilet in Broken Lake Prison was a hundred times better than this place!

"This is the Shadow Dimension." Vishy's voice was unchanged; just hearing it made one think of her smiling face, eyes full of teasing and nonchalance. She seemed entirely unaffected by the environment here. "I reversed Soul Reflection and used shadows to move. Luckily, we're both Demigods, our souls and bodies fused into one. Soul Reflection can just barely let us squeeze into shadows. Otherwise, we'd have had to think of another way."

Ash took a deep breath, trying to distract himself with conversation. "So this world actually has a Shadow Dimension?"

"Maybe it didn't before we came in, and then it did after we came in." Vishy smiled. "We might be the Shadow Dimension's first visitors."

"What do you mean?"
