In the Second Hell, the Deep Blue Hell, a hand suddenly appeared at the edge of a cliff. As five fingers dug hard into the soft sea mud, leaving grooves behind, Nether Devil climbed up with just one hand. Her other arm was wrapped around Ash's waist, as if she were a chef carrying a weak little Lala Fat.
Ash glanced back down. By now, the world rift could no longer be seen. The entire Barren Hell was overflowing with grayish-white paste, and that paste was still spreading upward, like hell's color had fallen off and turned into a bleak gray pile.
It was not just the Barren Hell. Everywhere within sight across the Sixfold Hell had lost its color, with gray, woven from black and white, becoming the only shade. Only Ash and the others still retained their original colors, but if one looked closely, they would find prismatic Fluorescence constantly spilling from Ash and Nether Devil's bodies. This seemingly gorgeous effect was, in truth, a sign of their unending decline. They were fading with every minute and every second.
Once all their colors faded, they would be imprisoned forever in this gray-white hell.
"Silent Domain?" Ash suddenly asked.
The current situation really did resemble the Silent Domain phenomenon of the Time Continent. Because one could not catch up to the Gilded River, all things in that motionless world would also lose all color.
"The Silent Domain only strips away color on the time dimension, but the vast majority of people have to observe the world through the time dimension, so in their eyes everything in the Silent Domain loses color. In reality, however, the things inside haven't faded. They only need to be watered by the Gilded River again to regain their radiance." Mirror Demon followed beside them
