"Witch..."
"Hm?" Ash, who was savoring the strawberry on top of the cake, blinked and saw Sonia, her eyes hazy, trying to recover her clarity.
"Shouldn't we call Witch and the others in?" Sonia asked softly.
"Why call them?"
"Aren't we doing it together tonight?"
"They didn't follow us in," Ash said. "So let's accept their goodwill with a clear conscience."
"But Witch definitely wants to come in. Just look at how much she was looking forward to tonight. Vishy was left hanging by you at noon today, and Vesir hasn't rested at all these past few days because she's been constructing Heaven..." Sonia said. "You need to consider their feelings too."
"I'll make it up to them," Ash said. "Tonight is your turn. Every now and then, I want to enjoy some time alone together too."
Sonia shook her head. "You can, but there's no need. We've always been together anyway. That's the way we get along that makes all of us happy."
"Something's not right." Ash tilted his head. "Sword Maiden, why are you so determined to have Witch and the others join in? Don't tell me... if there isn't someone watching from the side, you're not interested!? How perverted. I like it!"
"I'm not as perverted as you!" Sonia snapped. "I just feel... it should be a little fairer."
Ash blinked, then suddenly leaned in front of Sonia, pressing his forehead against hers.
"I see. You have a fever." Ash's expression turned grave. "No wonder there's something wrong with your head."
"Have you ever heard of a Six-Winged God Lord getting a fever!?" The corner of Sonia's mouth twitched. "It's not like I'm saying anything bad. Since you can clearly make everyone happy, you shouldn't be biased... Don't you want everyone to be happy?"
"I do want
